In aid of giving useful information for Filipinos who are looking to borrow money from private lending companies or banks in the Philippines, I have listed below the different and currently existing documentary requirements as per type of loan to apply for – collateral and non-collateral loans in the Philippines.
Basic Car Loan Requirements
- Completely filled up application form
- 2 valid IDs (must have same address as the proof of billing)
- Original proof of billing (only electric or water bill allowed and must have same address as the 2 valid IDs
- TIN ID
- Proof of income (DTI or SEC if with business / 1 month latest payslip and COE if with regular job / contract of lease if with property for rent / remittance receipts of voucher if with remittance coming from abroad / bank statement if have pension
- Stencil of engine and car chassis number (to be done at the lending office vicinity)
- Picture of the vehicle (to be done by account officers and stencil officers)
- Photocopy of OR CR (original to be surrendered upon claim of loan money)
Basic House and Lot Loan Requirements
- Certified true copy of TCT (transfer certificate of title)
- Updated RETR and tax declarations of the property to be used as collateral
- 2 valid primary IDs
- Vicinity map and latest picture of the house
- Proof of income of the borrower (DTI if with Business / 3 months payslip and COE if with regular job / Remittances and vouchers if with somebody sending monthly money
- Latest tax identification number (TIN)
- 6 months latest bank statement of account
Basic Seaman Loan Requirements
- Completely filled up application form by borrower and co-borrower
- POEA validated latest contract
- Passport (must be latest and valid)
- SRC
- Seaman’s book
- Allotment slip of allotment certificate
- 2 valid primary or government-issued IDs
- Marriage contract or birth certificate of children if married
- Original proof of billing (only electric or water bill allowed)
